Was at the Atlanta Hotel for 3 days in November 2019. most important plus is a good location in the historic city center on Rembrandt Square. Nearby tram stop (1 min from the hotel) and metro Rokin (8 min walk). Room was clean, comfortable large bed, TV, chair, sink, hair dryer, wardrobe (antique wood), safe and fridge with drinks and sweets. I'm telling you, you should take your slippers. On the floor about 8-10 rooms, common for all showers and toilets M-J separately. toilets are clean, soap and paper is always there. In the room, garbage was taken out daily. 1. checking in immediately check the fridge with drinks. In my room, someone before me drank two cans of soda and left them empty in the fridge (each cost 2 euros), well that did not have to pay. 2. hotel has no elevator, steep stairs. Take all the suitcases upstairs yourself. breakfasts are good. breakfast costs 10 euros (paid separately and check is not issued). breakfast is good, buffet: coffee machine, cheese slices, sausages sliced, sweets, pancakes, boiled eggs, fruit, vegetables, juices, etc. For every taste. food is fresh, environment is pleasant. I recommend breakfast... 4. There are several dozens of cafes near the hotel! In the evening you can sit, have dinner and admire Amsterdam. 5. Staff is polite, good network. 6. staff is polite, all will show and prompt. 7. Next to the hotel (5-10 minutes walk) souvenir shops, supermarket, flower market, cheese shop, cruises on the river tram and much more. 8. Average room rate
1. Didn't like the fact that 2 days before checking in, my bank card was charged almost 90 euros. As I was explained to me, is a reservation for accommodation. If nothing is spoiled when you check out, money will be returned to me. I've already returned to Russia 3 years ago, this money has not come to me yet. I'll write to the hotel today. 2. Two-star hotel. Don't expect a fancy renovation and big rooms. Repair is simple - on the walls of wallpaper, wooden stairs already sharpened, rooms are small. Completely corresponds to the price - quality.

I had forgotten two shirts left behind in the closet. The staff notified me promptly and had the items folded and ready for me at the front desk . I am very grateful!
The bathroom is quite dated and the elaborate shoer/tub was hard for staff to keep clean. Suggest updating soon.

Hotel Atlanta is a great location from which to see Amsterdam. The staff are fantastic - friendly and helpful. Great breakfast for the money. Nice atmosphere of an old Amsterdam house inside with a nice view of Rembrandtsplein from the front.
Rembrandtsplein area can be noisy at night with partying until 4 am, especially on weekends, so if you need to sleep make sure you get a back room or find a quieter hotel

Soundproof windows, prime location by restaurants and shops, functional radiator controls
The stairs are a workout that will leave you gasping for air!!! The ventilation system is less than ideal, trapping stuffy air in cramped rooms!!!

The staff was very helpful and the location was convenient for our daily trips to places of interest. It is on the Rembrandt Square which is a lively party location.
It's location did provide for lively noise at night. The hotel staff did change our room when the shower did not work correctly.

Twin room with bath, great view of the square. Short walk to nightclubs and bars. Travelling from the heart of the city to the hotel is very easy by taking the tram and the walk is short, leading through dam street which contains all the best shops
Bath jacuzzi did not work and shower head was leaking. Had to use all the provided towels just to keep the floor dry

I liked the location best. I like that our room was on the first floor at the back so it wasn't noisy at all. Rembrandt square is the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam.
I didn't like how warm the rooms were at night. We had a fan in our room but it was still very warm.
